FIT THE MOLD

PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING

This game contains themes and depictions of transphobia. Re-consider playing it if you're not in the right mindset for that. Stay safe out there! ♡

I struggled to put this somewhere in the actual game: every day once Archie is done talking, you can press Space to see your current task.

FOREWORD

This game is a final class project for the two month Unity course I was a part of. It's very rough around the edges, seeing I only had about a week to do it, but I tried to put as much of my original vision of the game within this.

I also thought 'hey, let's learn to do a bunch of new things I haven't until now for the tight deadline final project. That won't be stressful'. I was wrong :').

Either way, here it is, the best it could be given the circumstances. The presentation is very rough and the scene transitions are very sudden, but let's pretend that's part of the charm?

For some reason the credits take longer to scroll than they should but I don't have the time to fix that. Sorry.

Enjoy!

THE GAME

STORY

You are Emil, recently moved to Larimer Springs, Colorado, to start a new life in the States. Luck has it that you almost immediately landed a job at one of the local gas stations — though both the locals and your absent boss are strange people.

At least one thing's clear. You can trust the Larymer Fire Department.

GAMEPLAY

  • F to pick up/put down items.
  • E to interact.
  • Space to take out / put away your notepad to see your daily tasks (one Archie is done talking).

You might have to get up close and personal with some things to interact with them. Sorry.

CREDITS

All credits are at the end of the game. Here is the playlist going through the radio, since I doubt most people would get to hear more than 2 or 3 songs.

Thank you again to everyone who helped with this. I'm glad my final project got to be something fun and that you were all there with me.

I'M NOW GOING TO BED.
